Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Cryptography Inventory Developer for the cybersecurity organization at a large financial institution. This person will be responsible for supporting multiple security engineering efforts to deliver enterprise security capabilities revolving around cryptography and more specifically building systems for our client to be able to scan the enterprise-wide technology environment. As an Inventory Developer they will be working to design/develop and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all cryptographic keys, certificates, and algorithms used within the organization; track the lifecycle of cryptographic assets (including issuance, renewal, expiration). This person will be part of a team within a large organization and will be contributing heavily to drive cybersecurity initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Broad knowledge and experience within the field of cryptography (not deep with any specific tools/technologies). Examples include:
o Plaintext and ciphertext
o Encryption/decryption
o PKI Public Key Infrastructure
o Symmetric & Asymmetric Cryptography
o HSM Hardware Security Module
o Digital Keys
Demonstrated experience working in large teams and projects heavily focused on getting in the weeds and getting the work done (this is NOT an architect although that experience is great if they are willing to do the dirty work in this role)
Strong knowledge and experience working with data-at-rest and data-in-motion with regards to cryptography and encryption to ensure security and integrity ie. Key Management/Lifecycle
Strong understanding of key exchange protocols and message authentication codes, along with practical implementation experience
Familiarity with modern security protocols such as TLS (Transport Layer Security) and SSH (Secure Shell)
Familiarity with NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS standards
Strong communication skills
o Demonstrated experience and ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders including collaborating and driving initiatives over time through meetings, goals and actions
Scripting languages experience (such as Powershell, Python, Perl, Javascript, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
