Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Capacity Manager to join one of our largest financial clients. This person will be joining the Performance Engineering & Capacity Management Organization within APSE. On a Day-to-Day basis, this candidate will participate in multiple projects and have a specific set of deliverables around Performance and Capacity including Risk and Regulatory Management, and Information Security Management. They will be responsible for managing the capacity of portfolios- required reviews periodically, capacity in production support projects, audit and compliance related deliverables, creating those reports and BOB. They will be interacting with executive audiences- communicating complex technical subjects to these executive audiences both written and presenting so they need to have the ability to communicate and provide capacity executive summaries to our partners and stakeholders.
Their job duties in include:
• Providing data analytics and capacity forecast models
• Understanding of hardware Infrastructure, architecture and disaster recovery
• IT Service Management (ITSM)- receiving tickets to address on a daily basis
• Advisor for system and application performance improvements with other partners and stakeholders
• Candidate will be required to review technical project documentation in an effort to identify performance and capacity impacts to the infrastructure. Projects identified with impact will be engaged and the candidate will provide support and consulting for the project(s) in question.
• Candidate will work with other support teams to collectively provide forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components.
• Once performance testing is underway, the candidate will review saturation test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs and Performance Center results) to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limits.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• Minimum experienced of 3-5+ years of IT Capacity Management
• Demonstrate knowledge of capacity planning methodologies with strong background in distributed systems architecture and Microservices architecture
• Expereince in Application Capacity Management - they would now how distributed system applications work, performance expectations, resiliency, redundancy, production support issues, how to forecast for them, etc
• Demonstrate knowledge of ITIL capacity management best practices COBIT framework.
• Experience with external could offerings- AWS cloud, Google and Azure
• Financial services experience at an enterprise level
• Experience with Agile Framework – Jira/Confluence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
Infrastructure architecture background
ITSM/Geneos experience
Experience with AppDynamics/DynaTrace, and/or Splunk
Experience with True Sight Capacity Optimizer or other capacity management tools
