Billing Solutions Architect

Insight Global is seeking a 3 month contract to hire Billing Solutions Architect with a strong background in the telecom industry to sit on-site 4 days a week, 1 day remote, in either Saint Louis or Charlotte, North Carolina., for $40-$50 (need to get confirmed) an hour to help with the design and integration of billing systems using Amdocs platforms. This role will split time evenly between solutioning and design work (50%) and participating in grooming calls (50%), collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Mobile IT, product, and operations.

Must-haves

• 3-7 years of professional experience as a Billing Solutions Architect IN THE TELECOM INDUSTRY
• Experience setting and managing key parameters like pricing rules, usage limits, billing cycles, discounts, and tax configurations to ensure accurate and flexible billing.
• Experience defining and enforcing work rules (ex: how charges are applied, when invoices are generated, and how exceptions are handled.)
• Experience ensuring systems like Amdocs can support different billing models, including subscriptions, usage-based charges, and promotional offers.
• Experience with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to ensure different systems can communicate and exchange data smoothly.
○ Ex:
○ Connect billing platforms (like Amdocs) with other systems such as CRM, ordering, provisioning, and payment gateways.
○ Use APIs to send and receive data like customer usage, plan details, and invoice information
Bachelor's degree

• Experience with Amdocs (Telecom specific billing software)
