Insight Global is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join one of our largest financial clients 3 days per week in either Charlotte, NC or Jersey City, NJ. This engineer will be responsible for designing, developing and executing automate tests to ensure software quality and reliability, identifying bugs and issues before release, with collaboration with developers, release team and other testers. They will develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements. This candidate will participate in test case reviews and make necessary updates, builds and use test data required to accomplish execution of test cases. This person will report issues and defects along with appropriate background information for review as well as collaborate with developers on reproducing, detailing, and documenting reported defects.
Primary Skills Include:
- Octane, Terrafom, Hashicorp, Python, Selenium, Tosca, Litmus, Jenkins, UFT, Automated/Manual testing, and Quality Assurance/Quality check.

- Experience building an automation framework using UFT, Tosca, or Selenium at a global enterprise level.
- 5+ years using Microfocus Octane for test case management.
- 5+ years of experience with Java or Python.
- 5+ years of experience with automated and manual testing.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipeline and Jenkins integration.
- Terraform, the open-source Infrastructure as Code (IaC) HashiCorp tool
- Creating test cases in JIRA
