Job Description

Scope of work:
This Scrum Master is backfilling an existing resource assigned to the Data Resiliency Capabilities (DRC) project. This scrum master will be supporting at least one scrum team on the DRC train and will assist with change coordination responsibilities for all DRC releases that adhere to all Enterprise Change Standards.
This Scrum Master resource will largely be accountable for scrum team execution, and optimizing the flow of work that produces business-value through the team. Primary responsibilities include:
Coordinating and facilitating scrum team process and routines (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Story + Epic Refinement, Retrospective)
Promoting quality practices and consistent scrum team working agreements
Protecting the team from distractions to their commitments
Managing and resolving team impediments
Measuring/reporting team performance and driving continuous improvement

Project Details:
This role will likely be aligned with the Data Resiliency Capabilities (DRC) train, program, and project effort. This effort covers Data Corruption Cyber-Attack preparation and response including: regulatory Driven Data Restoral Plan creation and maintenance, Last Good Data copy health and monitoring, data corruption propagation and containment, and indicators of data corruption capabilities to mitigate key regulatory, reputational, and operational risks related to operational and data resiliency.

Required Skills & Experience

MUST HAVES:
- 5+ yeas of Agile Scrum Master experience - directly leading multiple scrum teams
- Experience providing execution progress updates and leading discussions with senior technology and business partners ( as well as Product Owners, developers, testers)
- Recent Change Management experience at Bank of America, especially in relation to Release Management/ Coordination using BofA tools such as Remedy, RMT, PPRT, GCP AR, and JIRA
- Self-starter, requiring minimal direction and takes ownership of the assignment and drive it to completion
- Problem Solving Skills - Ability to drive end-to-end delivery across complex execution efforts ensuring all people, process, and technology deliverables are managed appropriately
- Communication Skills - needs to be able to effectively communicate with team members, business partners, and executive stakeholders
