Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Network Engineer 1 on behalf of a telecom carrier client in Charlotte, NC. This is a 2nd shift position, working 4pm-12:30am, Monday-Friday, on site in the clients Network Operations Center.

Required Skills & Experience

At least 3 years experience in a NOC environment troubleshooting layer 2 and layer 3
CCNA level knowledge – Cert not required but HIGHLY preferred Experience with a ticketing system such as Remedy or ServiceNow Manual configurations of Cisco routing and switching Configurations of vLANs Ability to speak of network technologies in vendor neutral terms Maintain and update technical documentation
Excellent communication skills
Microsoft suite proficiency
