Job Description

BTech in Computer Science (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of hands-on software development, release engineering, and DevOps supporting Windows/Linux based products.
Traditional Software a MUST

Proven experience in building WINDOWS/Linux products.
*****Must have on-prem knowledge more so than cloud

Ability to multitask and prioritize, while effectively managing time

Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working with Mid/Larger teams

Required Skills & Experience

Strong communication skills

Strong Experience with SCM and version control systems such as Git, GitHub

Extensive experience with Jenkins / Jenkins Pipeline and Build Automation

Experience building software on Windows and Linux Operating Systems

Knowledge and experience with using Windows/Linux infrastructure Tools: maven, make, VisualStudio, InstallShield

Basic Knowledge and experience with using Cloud infrastructure services: Docker, Podman

Ability to create automation with scripting or programming languages such as Shell, Bash ,Perl, Python, Groovy

Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Release Engineering, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Work experience in utilizing CI/CD practices and various automation tools

Familiarity with various applications such as: SonarQube, Artifactory, Coverity

Ability to problem solve build, automation, infrastructure issues

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Support Multiple Engineering Teams for Multiple Products

Collaborate with Development Team and other Eng. Services Team Members
