Job Description

A large software and gaming company is looking for an experienced and highly organized on-site Technical Build Producer to coordinate and manage the build pipeline and technical production workflows across multiple game development projects. In this role youll work with the Technical Build Managers that support Shared Services and this role is critical to ensuring smooth build deployment for internal Capture Department, Creative Service Vendors and
Creative Services Production departments. The ideal candidate will bring a solid technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proactive approach to
problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Coordination: Act as a primary liaison between vendors, internal production teams, and technical build managers to ensure alignment across all project efforts.
Cross-Project Bug Tracking: Monitor, track, and communicate the status of bugs and issues affecting multiple projects. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are updated promptly on fixes and resolutions.
Project Allocation: Work with Build Managers to ensure appropriate resource coverage across all ongoing projects.
Scheduling & Planning: Collaborate with Build Managers and Leads to develop and maintain detailed build schedules.
Risk Management: Identify and address potential bottlenecks or risks in the build process before they impact delivery timelines.
Workflow Development: Continuously review and refine build pipelines, tools, and procedures to support scalability and team efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, tools, and
standards to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Designers, Artists, QA, and Producers to ensure builds meet gameplay and content requirements.
Vendor Onboarding: Support onboarding for vendors, ensuring access and documentation are provided, and best practices are followed for both new Vendors and new Projects to current Vendors.
Build Management Oversight: Oversee the delivery and testing of builds for both internal and external use, ensuring inclusion of all required features and assets.
Production Automotion: Develop and maintain Automation pipelines to facilitate in supporting all Capture production

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years in game development, with at least 2 years in a production or technical operations role supporting build or engineering teams.
Able to work in Cary, NC in office 5 days a week
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with build systems, automation tools, version control (e.g., Git, Perforce), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity), Mobile experience
also beneficial.
Project Management: Strong scheduling and multi-project management abilities; experience working in high-speed development environments.
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to rapidly identify and assist in resolving build-related issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively bridge technical and non-technical disciplines.
Tools: Proficient in JIRA, Miro and other common project tracking tools.
Experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Hands-on experience with the Unreal Engine.
Knowledge of cloud build systems such as AWS or Google Cloud for distributed builds.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Experience integrating automated testing and QA validation into build pipelines.
