Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Artist to join a large game studio team. In this role, you’ll be working closely with a technical art team to push quality, innovate new solutions, and support the creation of new systems or pipelines for our projects. This role will require a solid understanding of materials and shaders as well as a strong artistic eye to help maintain quality and consistency across our assets. We’re looking for a generalist that can be flexible and work with our internal technical artists to support a range of work including environmental technical art and procedural generation, material creation and optimization, and supporting the general technical needs of the internal art team.

Required Skills & Experience
• Senior-level experience as a Technical Artist, with a strong emphasis on tooling and pipeline development
• Proven ability to work autonomously and drive projects without close oversight
• Strong understanding of materials, shaders, textures, and asset creation workflows
• Experience building or maintaining tools (Blueprints, scripting, DCC tools, or engine-side systems)
• Solid knowledge of optimization, scalability, and performance considerations
• Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders
• Experience supporting or managing outsourced pipelines is a strong plus
