Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a REMOTE EST - Part Time- Audio Engineer/Sound Designer to join a creative video team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in defining the sound of marketing campaigns, mixing audio that engages audiences across the ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strong attention for detail, a deep understanding of sound design, and experience mixing for advertising or branded content.
In this role you will
● Edit and mix audio for advertising campaigns, including broadcast spots, digital videos and social media content.
● Balance dialogue, voiceovers, sound effects, and music tracks to create polished, professional mixes that meet creative and technical specifications.
● Collaborate closely with creative directors, producers, editors, and campaign owners to incorporate in-game sound effects and music to achieve the desired sonic vision of a trailer.
● Clean, repair, and enhance audio files, including noise reduction and dialogue cleanup.
● Integrate music, voiceovers, and sound effects while adhering to licensing and copyright requirements.
● Deliver final mixes in multiple formats and ensure compliance with broadcast and digital platform standards.
● Maintain an organized audio workflow, including file management, archiving, and versioning.
● Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and trends in sound design and audio mixing.

Required Skills & Experience
● Proven experience as an audio engineer, sound designer, or mixer, ideally in advertising, film, or branded content.
● Proven experience mixing in surround sound.
● Proficiency in professional audio software such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, or similar.
● Strong understanding of mixing techniques for different platforms (broadcast, streaming, radio, and social).
● Knowledge of sound design principles and audio post-production workflows.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high quality.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both creative teams and clients.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing industry-standard mixes.
● Knowledge of loudness standards (LUFS) and compliance requirements across platforms.
● Familiarity with advertising workflows, including tight turnarounds and iterative client feedback.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
● Experience with Dolby Atmos, or immersive sound formats.
● Background in music composition, scoring, or sound branding.
