Job Description

A large software and gaming company is looking for a REMOTE (EST) Motion Designer to join the Video / Motion Graphics versioning team that aims to make sure each player across the globe feels supported with video content on Social and in Marketing. The team localizes assets in 13 languages across almost every social media platform.
You will be responsible for executing on the localization and versioning of video content using Adobe After Effects. You will focus on taking 2D English animations and converting them to 13 global languages and various platform sizes within Adobe After Effects and Photoshop. You will be tasked with maintaining brand guidelines and accuracy- as well as paying attention to safe zones across the internet. We are looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and who are comfortable making quick changes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidates are passionate about 2D animation and are interested in learning the fundamentals of a global post production studio.

In this role you will
● Utilize After Effects to convert 2D English animations across 13 global languages
● Follow feedback given by localization translators
● Collaborate with the wider versioning team to troubleshoot problems and deliver projects in a timely manner
● Review large numbers of exports for quality and ensure that they maintain brand standards
● Work to find solutions to graphics problems and optimize workflows
● Maintain and organize various project templates

Required Skills & Experience

● 3-5 years of experience working in a graphics studio environment with experience in localization and versioning.
● Proficient skill set in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
● Working knowledge of Figma, Fable, or Artboard Studio
● Ability to prioritize work while managing multiple tasks at a time. Complete this work with some oversight while receiving regular instruction and tasks.
● Communicate milestone updates and blockers to the team.
● Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
● Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
● Personable—you can work with peers of various levels and backgrounds.
● Keen eye for details and the ability and willingness to QC a myriad of assets

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

● Some experience in creative automation tools is highly desired but not necessary
