Job Description

• Lead and manage observability and monitoring initiatives across IT operations, with a focus on improving service performance, reliability, and visibility.
• Drive key projects such as:
○ Migrating monitoring capabilities into Datadog
○ Transitioning workflows from Jira to ServiceNow
○ Supporting broader ServiceNow ITOM initiatives, including:
§ Event Management
§ Service Mapping
§ CMDB / data integrity
• Partner with stakeholders to translate an ITIL-aligned observability and monitoring strategy into a clear, prioritized portfolio of projects.
• Build and maintain a living roadmap of initiatives, adjusting as priorities, technologies, and business needs evolve.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure projects remain on track by proactively managing scope, driving decision-making, and resolving roadblocks.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to define implementation strategies and deliverables.
• Support the creation of clean, structured data foundations that enable automation and more effective operational workflows.
• Drive the design of one cohesive lifecycle process across operational teams, including:
○ Onboarding / offboarding
○ Standing up new cloud environments
○ Communication and coordination across teams
• Improve how teams partner together by rethinking workflows, clarifying ownership, and introducing scalable process improvements.
Prepare the organization for change by supporting business readiness, solution adoption, and change management activities, including training and train-the-trainer support where needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in IT project, program, or product management
• Proven success leading complex enterprise initiatives with cross-functional stakeholder groups
• Experience managing projects in matrixed organizations with executive-level visibility
• Strong background in IT transformation, infrastructure, operations, or enterprise platform initiatives
• Familiarity with event management and incident management concepts
• Experience working in Agile environments, including managing work through iterative delivery models
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Datadog or other observability / monitoring platforms
• Experience with ServiceNow ITOM or ITSM
• Background supporting IT Ops, DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure teams
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience partnering with global teams
Experience managing vendors, contractors, or third-party implementation partners
