● Work with the Outsource Art Team Lead to ensure that assets from outsourcing partners are delivered to the expected quality level consistently and on schedule.
● Clearly communicate all necessary information to outsourcing partners for needed edits to their deliverables in a concise and visual manner with notations and supporting images and any necessary technical information.
● Deploy and must have a strong knowledge of efficient topology, UVs, textures, and technical aptitude with materials.
● Always relay any information that is relevant in regard to any challenges (technical & artistic) that arise when an outsourcing partner is working on an asset that the Outsource Art Team Lead should be aware of in order to get a solution provided to the outsourcing partner quickly.
● Ensure that outsourcing partner artists understand Psyonix's specific techniques and best practices and use them at all times.

Required Skills & Experience
● Experience in shipping AAA titles across multiple platforms.
● Experience shipping high-quality game ready assets for production, with an emphasis on stylized art / stylized realism.
● Must have a strong portfolio showing executed 3D game assets for hard surface and organics.
● Demonstrate a firm understanding of good efficient topology, UVs and textures.
● Strong understanding of latest toolsets in game art creation, including (but not limited to) Unreal Engine 5, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Perforce, and 3D modeling packages (A plus if experienced with Flow (“Shotgrid”), JIRA and Miro).
● Highly organized, self-driven, customer focused, and a great team player.
● Ability to critique, mentor, and improve art through written and visual feedback loops. Strong emphasis on visual feedback loops.
● A keen understanding of technical restrictions, ability to autonomously make choices to ensure high level art quality consistently, and excellent communication skills are a must.
● Experienced working within a team and a high-pressure production environment.
