Job Description

The ITSM Automations Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and automation solutions across ITSM platforms. This role will focus on streamlining workflows, enhancing customer knowledge base automation, and optimizing IT service processes by leveraging tools such as JIRA Bot, Workato, Azure Foundry AI, and other automation platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in automation engineering, IT service management (ITSM), and system integrations, ensuring seamless interactions between ITSM tools and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated workflows, integrations, and custom solutions across ITSM platforms.
Optimize customer knowledge base automation utilizing JIRA Bot and custom-built tools.
Implement low-code/no-code automation solutions using Workato, Azure Foundry AI, and similar platforms.
Work closely with ITSM, DevOps, and software development teams to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency of automation solutions.
Design and maintain API integrations between ITSM tools, enterprise applications, and third-party services.
Monitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve system efficiency.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance self-service capabilities through intelligent automation.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in automation engineering, and ITSM
Proficiency in automation platform Workato
Experience with JIRA Service Management and/or ServiceNow
Strong understanding of API integrations, scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript), and automation frameworks.
Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms and their best practices.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with AI-driven automation tools.
ITIL v4 or ITSM-related certifications.
Background in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and DevOps principles.
