Job Description

Our company is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to support our client in Cray North Carolina. This position would be supporting a variety of projects throughout the area.



Responsibilities:

* Conduct field observations and tests on construction materials

* Document contractor work and compliance with standards

* Communicate project progress to management

* Transport samples and equipment as needed

Additional Notes:

* Candidates with vertical construction and field testing experience favored

* Ongoing certification training provided and expected to be maintained



Pay: 18-21

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 1 year in special inspection or construction materials testing

- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade 1 or equivalent

- Radiation safety for nuclear gauge operation

- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Valid driver's license with a clean record

- High school diploma or GED

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* NCDOT testing/inspection

- ICC Special Inspector (various disciplines

- NCDOT testing/inspection certifications

- ICC Special Inspector Certifications (Pre-stressed Concrete, Soil, Spray-applied Fireproofing, Structural Masonry, Structural Welding, Structural Steel and Bolting)

- PTI Unbonded Level 1 or 2

- Cast Auger Piles
