Perform telephone triage for patients with endocrine-related concerns, using clinical protocols and nursing judgment.
Assess symptoms, provide education, and determine appropriate care pathways (e.g., urgent visit, routine follow-up, emergency care).
Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR (preferably Epic).
Collaborate with providers to relay critical information and coordinate care.
Support medication management, including refills, prior authorizations, and patient education.
Monitor lab results and follow up with patients as directed by providers.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.

Active RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a triage or ambulatory care setting.
Endocrinology experience required familiarity with diabetes management, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, etc.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Proficiency in patient education and chronic disease management.
Epic EMR experience highly preferred.
Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or experience working with diabetes patients.
Experience with remote patient monitoring or telehealth platforms.
Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
Familiarity with endocrine medication regimens and insulin pump technology.
