A large client (global leader in providing sustainable water solutions to homes, businesses, and industries)
of Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in the Raleigh, NC area. The Mechanical Engineer with be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Responsibilities:
New product development and product enhancement.
Work with a cross-functional team to design and implement those ideas using CAD models, drawings, product cost estimates, material and product standards, bill of materials, prototyping, and testing of products.
Support production operations as required through design for manufacturing.
Meet with vendors when needed to review all related product issues, materials, and costs.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5+ years of related experience
Design and development focus with experience/knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, or water treatment.
Knowledge of CAD programs including SolidWorks/ CREO
Knowledge of GD&T

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Pluses:
Experience with finite element analysis and computational fluid dynamics
Design for manufacturing (injection-molding)
