Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Financial Analyst/Accountant to support an aerospace manufacturing group. This is a contract position that will play a critical role in maintaining financial operations.
This individual will own the month-end close process and lead financial reporting activities within a lean, highly independent environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the month-end close process and preparing accurate financial statements
- Supporting forecasting and financial planning, including P&L and balance sheet analysis across multiple systems
- Managing cash flow activities, payroll oversight, and daily bank reconciliations
- Overseeing internal controls, audit readiness, and maintaining supporting documentation for audits
- Tracking inventory consumption and ensuring accurate expense allocation across multiple manufacturing sites
- Managing accounts receivable processes including collections follow-up, and reconciliations
- Supporting vendor discrepancy resolution and AP/AR activity oversight
- Monitoring KPI performance metrics and supporting operational reporting needs
- Partnering with operations and engineering teams in monthly cross-functional reviews

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations

- Deep understanding of P&L and balance sheet relationships

- Experience working in a manual or low-system environment with heavy documentation and audit support

- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple accounting functions in a lean team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in a manufacturing environment, including KPI tracking (labor/utilization metrics)

- Familiarity with ERP and financial systems such as SAP, or similar platforms

- Experience managing inventory accounting across multiple locations

- Exposure to payroll processing systems (e.g., ADP) and cash management activities
