Position Overview
This is a high-impact, hands-on HR role with a strong emphasis on full-cycle recruiting while also supporting broader HR generalist functions. This individual will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, including direct support to an executive. This person will be expected to operate with a high level of independence and accountability.
The ideal candidate is a decision-maker and leader who thrives in an autonomous environment, can shift between strategy and execution, and is comfortable balancing recruiting and employee relations long-term.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts across the organization, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management
• Partner with leadership to define hiring needs and drive efficient decision-making
• Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for critical roles
• Own recruitment strategy and continuously improve hiring processes
HR Generalist & Employee Relations
• Serve as the go-to HR resource for employees and managers across the business
• Handle employee inquiries related to benefits, leave of absence, disability, and general HR policies
• Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and performance concerns
• Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) as needed
• Support retention initiatives and maintain a positive, engaged workforce
HR Operations & Leadership Support
• Provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with leadership to guide HR strategy and decision-making
• Ensure HR practices are compliant and aligned with company culture
• Balance strategic initiatives with hands-on execution (“willing to get in the weeds”)

Required Skills & Experience
What We Are Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in HR with a strong emphasis on recruiting
• Prior experience in a small-to-mid-sized company environment preferred
• Proven ability to work independently without heavy oversight
• Strong decision-making skills and confidence in guiding leadership
• Experience in employee relations, including disciplinary processes and PIPs
• Comfortable operating in a blended role (recruiting + HR generalist long-term)
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels
