Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Onboarding and Training specialist to join the team of one of the top energy companies in Schenectady, NY. The Onboarding and Training Specialist supports onboarding, training coordination, and learning operations to ensure new engineers become productive quickly. This role manages logistics for all learning programs, delivers foundational onboarding sessions, and partners closely with engineering teams to create a consistent, high‑quality new‑hire experience. The Specialist also helps reinforce company culture, enables mentorship connections, and drives efficiency across all training activities. Onsite presence is required four days per week, with flexibility for early start times, occasional travel, and potential for one additional remote day in the future.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, HR, Psychology, Instructional Design, Operations, Project Management, or related field
Strong organizational and project management skills
Previous experience with onboarding, training, or similar business operations functions
Ability to manage multiple systems and workflows simultaneously
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience coordinating onboarding or learning operations
Background supporting engineering or technical teams
Familiarity with training logistics, seminars, or new‑hire programs
Experience facilitating professional skills or culture-based training
