Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SR. Geotechnical/Environmental Engineer with 14 years of experience to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of infrastructure, environmental, and site development projects in the New York area, supporting both public and sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field investigations including soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, and site inspections.
Assist in the planning and execution of geotechnical and environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs).
Perform geotechnical analyses including slope stability, settlement, and bearing capacity evaluations.
Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and construction recommendations.
Support environmental remediation design and implementation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and project managers.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Compensation:

$40/hr-45/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
5+years of relevant experience in geotechnical or environmental engineering.
Familiarity with geotechnical software and environmental data analysis tools.
Expeince with running design calculations
Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
EIT certification; PE license or pursuit of licensure
