Job Description

As a Regional Sales Director (RSD), you will lead a high-performing team of 912 Territory Account Managers (TAMs) and Associate TAMs (ATAMs) across a top-performing region. This role is ideal for a servant leader who thrives in the field, builds strong culture, and drives results through hands-on coaching and strategic execution.
Key Responsibilities
Spend 34 days per week in the field conducting ride-alongs, mentoring reps, and supporting top performers.
Lead by examplethis is not a desk job. Weekly overnights are expected.
Coach both junior and veteran reps on sales strategy, soft skills, and patient engagement.
Drive performance against monthly quotas (Shipped Orders and Order Completions).
Use Salesforce CRM to monitor activity, analyze metrics, and guide performance improvement.
Develop strategic initiatives (e.g., expanding partnerships with the VA) to grow territory impact.
Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture through servant leadership.
Lead through changesupport reps through new product launches and evolving Medicare/insurance policies.
Build a resilient, adaptable team that thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations, training, and compliance.
Serve as a key liaison between the field and executive leadership.

The salary range listed is the base available for this role, on plan total compensation is $270,000 with uncapped commission. This role is 70% in the field with your TAMs/ATAMs, and with a territory extending including Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, Big Hampton, NY, Scranton, PA and Vermont, you'll likely be spending overnights weekly. Outside of being on the road with your team, you will be working from home.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree or relevant equivalent sales experience.
Home medical equipment and/or pharmaceutical sales management experience.
Demonstrated ability to increase revenue through motivation and formation of strategic partnerships and alliances.
5-10 years experience in sales management.
Demonstrated ability to launch new products.
Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred).
Willingness to travel extensively with weekly overnights.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience leading teams in a quota-driven, patient-facing sales environment.
Background in coaching both new and tenured reps.
Demonstrated ability to lead through change and build culture.
