Job Description
A client of IG is seeking a hands‑on, generalist Network & Systems Administrator to support a small but technically complex scientific and manufacturing environment. The role is primarily systems‑focused (70%) with limited network responsibilities (30%) within a stable, third‑party‑supported SD‑WAN environment. Responsibilities include supporting Microsoft 365, backups, scientific applications, and end users across multiple locations in close partnership with a senior systems administrator.

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in systems and/or network administration
Strong Microsoft 365 experience (Exchange Online, Entra ID, Intune)
Experience supporting Windows endpoints in an enterprise environment
Experience managing SaaS‑based backups
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Citrix application support experience
Meraki networking experience
Exposure to Azure networking (VNets, routing)
Experience in biotech, manufacturing, or regulated environments
Network+ / Security+ or equivalent
