Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Construction Manager to lead the build-out of a classified engineering R&D space (SCIF). All required licenses have been secured; the next phase is the execution and construction of the secured facility. This role requires deep experience managing secured or cleared facility builds and ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the full lifecycle of SCIF construction, from planning through execution and closeout.
Manage contractors, vendors, schedules, and budgets to ensure project completion within scope and compliance requirements.
Ensure all work adheres to ICD 705 and other relevant federal compliance codes.
Coordinate with internal engineering and R&D stakeholders to ensure the space meets operational needs.
Maintain rigorous security protocols throughout all phases of construction.
Provide regular reporting on build progress, risks, and milestones.

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, or Facilities Management.
Proven experience overseeing and managing development of secured or cleared facilities (SCIF experience required).
Strong knowledge of ICD 705 and other compliance standards for secure facilities.
Ability to work 100% onsite.
Primary work location: Niskayuna, NY, with occasional travel to Malta, NY.
Availability for a 12‑month assignment.
