Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Underwriting Analyst to join the technical accounting and administration team at one of our top insurance clients in New York City.

The ideal candidate will be handling all activities related to clearance of new and renewal submissions and processing quoted and bound accounts to ensure account maintenance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: policy and endorsement issuance and booking, invoicing, accounting reconciliations, client and/or broker contact for requisite documentation, timely filing of account documentation and additional duties as required. This may include application of incoming funds to booked premiums, preparation of outgoing settlements and coordination on claims payments. A client-centered approach to the functions of this role is essential to be most successful in this role as well as the ability to prioritize varying demands.

This position is a 6-month contract is a hybrid on-site role, 3 days onsite are required in the Financial District of Manhattan.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ YOE in the insurance industry

- Experience with file management, account renewals submissions, policies, and endorsements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Adobe

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree

- Experience with Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance
