Job Description

A global banking company is looking to hire a Risk Consultant to join their New Product Governance & Strategy team. This role will play a critical role in ensuring that product innovation aligns with regulatory expectations, internal risk appetite, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical mindset, program management discipline, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. This role will require heavy documentation management and the ability to consolidate ideas and content into PowerPoint presentations and other deliverables to present to a variety of audiences. Some main responsibilities may include:
- Support the implementation and execution of the firm’s new product governance framework in alignment with OCC Bulletin 2017-43 and relevant internal risk policy requirements.
- Lead and enhance processes related to an enterprise-wide risk transformation initiative
- Develop high-quality deliverables (including but not limited to presentations, process design documents, and reporting materials) for senior leadership, governance committees, and cross-functional partners.
- Proactively identify and address process gaps, inefficiencies, or emerging risks within the product lifecycle.
- Partner closely with teams across risk pillars and control management to facilitate end-to-end governance and improve coordination.
- Operate with agility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment, often managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of professional experience at a major consulting firm like Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY, Accenture, BCG, etc.

- Demonstrated experience working on an enterprise-wide transformation project, specifically within the financial services space.

- Strong proficiency in creating Powerpoint presentations

- High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the comfortability to navigate through a high-pace day
