Insight Global is looking for a Remote Linux System Administrator to join our large Financial Services client headquartered in NYC. This team is responsible for the day to day support of the enterprise Linux Operating System through patching, troubleshooting, and automation. The successful candidate will have strong working experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Ansible as they will be responsible for writing playbooks from scratch. This team is also responsible for batch operations, monitoring alerts 24/7, and patching to negate security vulnerabilities.

3-7 years experience as a Linux System Administrator (Red Hat Linux 8 & 9)
2+ years experience with Red Hat OpenShift (preferred) or Kubernetes
Strong experience with Ansible (writing playbooks from scratch)
Experience working with the monitoring tool Zabbix (preferred) or DataDog
Ability to deploy Infrastructure as Code experience writing code that configures the servers
Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, or Go experience
Willingness to work in an on-call rotation with other team members
Experience handling database operations such as Sybase, MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
Experience administrating and managing Red Hat Satellite
Autosys for batch processing
GitHub enterprise server/appliance administration
Red Hat high availability add-on (pacemaker/corosync)
Sybase ASE
LDAP open or IDM
Veritas VCS
Splunk
