We are seeking an Office Coordinator to oversee the operations of our East Coast Headquarters in the New York office for a rapidly growing financial software startup. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all office-related matters, including vendor management (such as catering and snack programs), seating arrangements, internal and external office events, and collaboration with property management.
Additionally, you will focus on fostering a positive and engaging workplace atmosphere by carefully assessing and addressing the unique needs and preferences of the office. The ideal candidate will have experience as an office manager or coordinator, capable of managing a mid-sized office, addressing issues promptly, and collaborating with a global team on various projects and events.

· 2-3 years of experience as an Office Manager or Office Coordinator - Corporate experience at a commercial office building
· Proactive problem-solving skills and a growth mindset
· Takes ownership and accountability for office space and operations
· Desire to grow within the role and alongside the Workplace Experience team
· Demonstrated reliability and persistence in overcoming challenges
· Effective communication with site leads from other offices, fostering collaborative relationships
· Passionate about creating an inclusive environment that promotes community and engagement, through Events, both virtually and in-person
· Experience with G Suite and Slack
· Experience with high-rise buildings, complex security, and fire safety
· Experience greeting and signing in clients, vendors, and execs
· Located in the Metro NYC area, with a willingness to occasionally travel to NJ
· Experience with event planning
· Proficiency in spreadsheet management, documentation, and organization
· Very high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
