We are seeking an Engineering Director to lead the development of our Internal Infrastructure Platform, a developer-first solution designed to streamline the management and deployment of public cloud infrastructure (AWS and GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. This platform prioritizes transparency and control, enabling developers to interact directly with IaC configurations while maintaining consistency, security, and compliance. You will be leading the design and delivery of this platform, helping drive modern development practices and engineering exercises. As a leader, you will help foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, stay on current technology trends, and help guide the growth and development of team members. This includes mentoring and guiding the team to success, facilitating cross-team collaboration, partnering with leader and executives in other groups, etc. The objective of is to enable migrations into public clouds such as AWS and GCP and ensuring that the applications and various platforms are deployed successfully.

-Bachelors degree in computer science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
-6+ years of experience in engineering complex software systems.
-Expertise in Microservices Architecture, Data-Centric application design, Event-Driven Systems, and cloud-native applications.
-Hands-on programming experience in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go.
-Experience with cloud-native tools and technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Envoy, Istio, and Terraform.
-Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Lambda, Serverless, Platform Engineering, and Internal Developer Portals.
-Proven ability to deliver high-quality software against aggressive timelines.
-Strong communication skills and ability to engage and inspire others.
-Passion for learning new technologies and innovative problem-solving
