Insight Global is looking for a Clinical Research Financial Analyst to join the Post-Award Grant Finance team for the Research Organization. This team is responsible for receiving funding through various sources such as national funds, foundations, and state funds and recording invoicing and booking against those funds for the clinical trials. We are looking for someone with experience working in clinical trials and monitoring and managing budget from regulatory bodies, the IRB or sponsored research. We are looking for someone with impeccable communication skills and customer service skills to manage sponsor expectations, adhere to research guidelines and making sure the Researchers are getting the support needed to complete the trials. We need someone who is excellent with Excel with creating v-look ups and Pivot tables, etc. This person must be local to NYC to be onsite every day the first two weeks of work for training and then 2 days a week after that.
* 2+ years' experience in Data Analyst or Financial Analyst for clinical trials
* Experience with Peoplesoft or another financial system to monitor transactions
* Great experience with Excel i.e., creating pivot tables and v-look ups
* Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
* Excellent time management skills, analytical thinking, detail oriented
* Experience with billing and outstanding payments
* Experience with regulatory bodies, IRB, and/or sponsored research
