Our client is a high-growth, global alternative asset manager seeking to provide clients excess return at every point along the risk-reward spectrum from investment grade to private equity with a focus on three investing strategies: yield, hybrid, and equity.
This candidate will part of the Equity Performance and Analytics team within the broader Strategy & Analytics group of Global Business Finance. This team is responsible for firmwide fund performance analytics. Within their Private Equity portfolios, this team also tracks
The candidates main responsibility will be to oversee the process of collecting, analyzing, and reporting fund management and outcomes, while enhancing the overall analytics framework for the Equity business. He or she will also be heavily involved with modeling and managing the tracking of asset sell-down activity to understand and communicate the implication to the fund and firm, as well as all aspects of portfolio monitoring activities/metrics.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage analytics related to portfolio company performance, including data collection, review, and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics at the asset, fund, and portfolio levels throughout the investment lifecycle using iLEVEL as a tool.
- Develop and maintain analytical tools and dashboards to support customized internal and external reporting needs.
- Prepare materials for investor communications, including marketing presentations, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), and other client-facing documents
- Collaborate with Deal Teams, Controllers, and Senior Management to deliver insights and analytics.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of system enhancements and process improvements across the team's analytics infrastructure.
- Potentially manage and develop one direct report at the Associate or Analyst level.

- Bachelors degree from a top undergraduate institution.
- 5-9 years of overall experience in financial services, investment management, valuations or asset management.
- At least 3 years of experience focused on investment services and valuations
- At least 3 years of experience working with portfolio or valuation monitoring tools such as iLEVEL (preferred), Cronograph, 73 Strings, or similar portfolio monitoring tools
- Strong understanding of private equity fund structures and investment lifecycles.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and time-management skills, with a proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with iLEVEL or similar portfolio monitoring tools
- Excellent quantitative analytical and modeling skills with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
