Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scheduling Manager to join our client in Mt.Vernon's team for $180k-$230k. In February 2026, the team will be relocating its operations to Manhattan, NY, due to its immense growth!
In simple terms, they:
Create the project timeline: They plan out what needs to happen, when, and in what order.
Coordinate with teams: They work with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to make sure everyone knows their deadlines.
Track progress: They monitor how the project is going and update the schedule if things change.
Spot delays early: If something is falling behind, they figure out how to fix it before it becomes a big problem.
Think of them as the projects timekeeper and traffic controllermaking sure everything flows smoothly and finishes on time.


The Scheduling Manager's responsibilities are as follows:

20% running high level meetings with the Owners, Sub Contractors, and Project Managers

50% preparing monthly reports using Cost Loading P6 Software to track budgeted vs. actual costs, forecast cash flow, and align payment schedules with work progress

30% putting together delay analysis' and what if scenarios
Delay analysis in construction is the process of identifying, quantifying, and explaining delays that impact a projects schedule. Its a critical part of project controls, claims management, and dispute resolution.
Used to simulate different project conditions or decisions to understand their potential impact on the schedule, cost, or resources. These scenarios are especially useful for risk management, delay mitigation, and strategic planning.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of professional experience in CPM Scheduling (Critical Path Method Schedulinga project management technique used to plan, schedule, and control complex projects, especially in construction, engineering, and manufacturing. Used to calculate the risk of different tasks)
Background in NY Construction specifically - working in a General Construction setting
Experience using Cost Loading P6 Software
Cost loading in Primavera P6 refers to the process of assigning monetary values (costs) to project activities within the schedule. This is a critical step in construction project management, as it allows teams to track budgeted vs. actual costs, forecast cash flow, and align payment schedules with work progress.
Experience giving presentations and running meetings to important stakeholders (Owners, Construction PM's and subcontractors)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

Bachelor's degree
Experience working directly in the construction fields with the PM's and Subcontractors
