Job Description

The Bilingual Medical Receptionist is a key player in the healthcare team, offering a friendly face to greet patients upon their arrival. This role is responsible for managing patient appointments through scheduling, cancellations, and necessary rescheduling, all while utilizing specialized practice management software. The receptionist ensures a smooth check-in and check-out process, maintaining meticulous records and patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations. Adept at handling a multi-line phone system, the receptionist directs calls, takes messages, and juggles administrative tasks such as filing and managing correspondence in both English and French. The position also involves assisting with billing, verifying insurance details, and processing co-payments. Importantly, the receptionist provides vital translation services for French-speaking patients, facilitating clear communication with healthcare providers. Candidates should be proficient in English and French, possess experience in a medical office setting, and have strong organizational skills along with a compassionate nature and a commitment to healthcare excellence.

French and English Speaking
