Job Description

Join a pioneering offshore energy project as a Station Manager, supporting the first HVDC offshore service agreement in the United States. In this role, you will serve as the on‑site Station Manager, leading a Local Technical Support Team and ensuring the safe, reliable operation and maintenance of a critical Grid Connection System.
You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, acting as the primary on‑site point of contact, and working closely with project management and back‑office teams to ensure operational excellence throughout the service lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, service, engineering, estimating, contract management, or client relations within the Transmission or Power Generation Sector.
• Demonstrates readiness to pursue Offshore certification through the Global Wind Organization (GWO) and complete Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) as required.
• Successful completion of all required safety and emergency response training, including offshore certifications.
• Solid knowledge of transformer theory and operation, circuit breakers, converter technology, and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical and electronic measuring instruments, equipment, and the interpretation of schematics and drawings.
• Thorough understanding of safe working practices, including the use of protective lock-out tags and locking devices.
• Strategic knowledge of FACTS or HVDC technology and service experience.
• Experience with self-perform work setup and execution.
• Strong client relations and scope management for long-term service contracts
