Job Description

-Provides construction management, architectural design, and code compliance support in the Facilities
Management group.
̶ Coordinates work of contractors and interfaces with customers to accommodate program requirements.
̶ Typical projects include building renovations, capital infrastructure improvements, equipment installations and
associated site work to support the relocation or expansion of personnel and assets in support of changing business
needs.
̶ Responsibilities cover all phases of project management including, evaluation of requirements, estimating,
scheduling, budget management design oversight, construction management and project close out.
̶ Role is customer focused, metric driven and has an expectation of value engineering, process efficiencies, and cost
improvements.
̶ Utilizes business operating systems, to deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence to all
aspects of the department.
̶ Manages several projects at one time, having sole responsibility for large to small projects and supporting additional
projects as a team member, engineering or construction management resource.
̶ Works in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously.
̶ Works closely with Facilities Maintenance and Operations teams.
̶ Supports the development of capital and expense budgets for the corporation.
̶ Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
̶ May require up to 30% travel as needed

Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
Partner closely with other members of functional†project†teams to define business requirements
Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree
5-7 years experience
Proven project management experience
People management and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
