An insurance client of Insight Global is seeking a Scrum Master to coordinate with their cross-functional Agile development teams. Utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework as the Agile Transformation takes place across the organization in release trains across the different lines of business, The Scrum Master will be supporting teams within Property and Casuality. They will be impacting the execution of business processes by identifying and removing impediments to operational success as it relates to the technical organization. This person should be highly independent and able to effectively lead the requisite Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, for simple to highly complex projects with minimal supervision. This role is required on-site 5 days a week in Galveston, TX or League City, TX.
This is a permanent opportunity paying between $70,000 - 110,000 annually.

1-5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master utilizing Agile principles and methodologies
A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, frameworks, and techniques (running weekly sprints and stand ups, presenting to executive level stakeholders, etc)
Experience managing large-scale Agile Transformation utilizing multiple scrum teams and/or release trains
Background in Technical environments utilizing JIRA or Azure DevOps for project management
Must have strong communication and people skills and ability to lead teams
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience
