Job Description
A manufacturing client is seeking a detail oriented Training Coordinator to support the new program launch. This role focuses on organizing, tracking, and scheduling all required training for salaried, hourly, and skilled trades employees as new equipment and processes are introduced. The coordinator will work closely with OEMs, engineering teams, and internal training groups to ensure training is completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate training for salaried, hourly, and skilled trades employees involved in the product launch.
• Work directly with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers)—including machining and assembly suppliers to schedule equipment specific training.
• Collaborate with process engineering, central training, and other plants within the organization to align training requirements and timelines.
• Maintain detailed training schedules, track completion, and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Ensure employees receive required lockout/tagout and equipment specific training.
• Support onboarding of new skilled trades employees by managing and distributing required training lists.
• Set up and manage virtual meetings (Teams), maintain Outlook calendars, and prepare Excel/PowerPoint status reports.
• Participate in OEM calls and internal coordination meetings to stay aligned with launch milestones.
• Report progress, risks, and completion metrics to plant leadership

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering field
o Or in lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Ability to work with diverse teams and hold salaried and hourly employees accountable
- Proficient with Microsft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Detail oriented and comfortable tracking large amounts of data and information
- Any experience working with manufacturing vendors or suppliers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Any kind of process engineering, production, or training coordination experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of machining or assembly environments
- Preferably any kind of supervisory experience
- Experience running/creating training content
