Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Safety Coordinator who brings a strong field presence and a proactive mindset to safety. This role is critical to supporting our crews in upstate New York and around the area - ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our standards and values. Location: Project is located in greater-Utica area, specifically Booneville, NY. At the conclusion of this project, ideal candidates will be flexible with future location opportunities throughout NY and New England.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and coach crews on hazard recognition and safe work practices
• Conduct field safety audits and reinforce a behavior-based safety culture
• Deliver HSE training and ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926) and company standards
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation including training records, inspections, and incident reports
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to continuously improve safety performance
• Ensure readiness of safety equipment and first aid supplies across job sites

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of construction or industrial safety experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage field personnel
• Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field (preferred)
• Experience in heavy civil, utilities, ROW, or pipeline work is a strong plus
