Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager I to support a leading specialty concrete contractor on a large-scale life sciences campus project in Albany, NY. This individual will support an active project currently ~30% complete, focused on construction of a major research facility.
This is a highly visible role requiring strong ownership, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to proactively drive project progress in coordination with field leadership and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
Lead overall project execution from a financial, operational, and client-facing standpoint
Partner closely with the Superintendent to drive schedule, budget, and on-site coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact with the client and key stakeholders
Manage subcontractor performance, schedules, and deliverables (high volume of subcontracted work)
Oversee cost tracking, forecasting, and cash flow management
Support project progression across planning, execution, and closeout phases
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote strong jobsite safety culture
Maintain project documentation, reporting, and communication across teams
Provide direction and coordination across onsite team (PE, Superintendent, subs)

Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of construction experience (no degree required if experience is met)
Prior Project Manager experience within construction (industrial/commercial)
Ability to confidently lead projects and make decisions independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience working with or managing subcontractors
Strong background in concrete construction projects
Experience working on large-scale projects ($30M+ budgets)
