Job Description
Insight Global is looking for Three Field Service Engineers to join a global leader in the semiconductor industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, calibration, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of our client’s equipment. This role will be located at customer site in either Boise, ID or Albuquerque, NM or Andover MA .
Responsibilities:
Represent Company in dealings with a single customer to achieve high customer satisfaction with equipment and prepare reports to the customer in operational status project meetings and weekly activities.
Perform activities during installation, upgrade, testing, warranty, and repair of equipment, following up all customers and clients’ protocols related to safety and security
Isolate and resolve equipment and systems malfunctions and take corrective action
Assist with the implementation of new processes, methods, and designs
Develop relationships with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention
Serve as contact for onsite activities, communications, and provide support in all matters related to the equipment, technical, and field aspects for the targeted site
Report all tool actions/events and weekly activities in field service reports
Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies
Single point of contact for onsite activities, communications, support in all matters related to the equipment, technical, and field aspects for the important client customer site.
Extensive Travel will be required during the training period only.
The training will last approximately six months. This includes travel to various training locations. Once training is complete, this position will report to our customer in Boise, ID or Albuquerque, NM.
Compensation/Pay: up to $30/hr (based on experience) + health/dental/vision/401k benefits (Day-One)

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical area minimum of 2 years of experience
o An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
o Military training and experience are welcome.
• Must possess a positive attitude and excellent communication skills with the ability to speak with clarity and interface effectively with customer, management, and peers
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, pneumatics, robotics, and computer controls System integration, test, and debug skills
• Experience with Semiconductor industry safety requirements and clean room environment
• Displays broad-based customer focus and commitment to resolve problems and make decisions based on the priority of the problem in relation to business needs
• Ability to build excellent customer relationships
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure to meet support deadlines in a multi-tasking environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
