Job Description

A federal client is seeking a Counselor to serve youth at a Residential location in Albuquerque, NM between the ages of 13-17. The Counselor will manage a caseload by performing a mixture of case management and clinical responsibilities. The Counselor will assist with intakes, conducting assessments, make connections to community resources, conduct individual and group therapeutic services, and perform clinical interventions.

Salary: $60,000

Required Skills & Experience

Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or other related fields.
Valid drivers license and personal vehicle
Comfortable passing a background check, drug test, child welfare checks, and FBI fingerprints.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with CYFD and foster care youth.
Bilingual in both English and Spanish
Prior clinical experience performing individual and group counseling to minors.
Clinical licensure from the state of New Mexico (LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
