Job Description

Insight Global seeks a Project Manager/Civil Design Engineer with 8+ years in water resources. Role includes flood risk management design, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS), and business development. Projects involve levees, floodplain mapping, dam safety, sediment transport, and river restoration. Ideal for a PE with strong technical and client-facing skills.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
Professional Engineer license
8+ years of professional experience in water resources design.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience with 1-D steady and unsteady modeling such as HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS, and similar.
Experience with hydrologic modeling such as HEC-HMS, HEC-GeoHMS
Solid technical writing, presentation and communication skills.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and engaging in business development

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters Degree with specialization in hydraulics preferred
Experience with Sediment Transport modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-6T, SIAM and similar) is a plus
Experience and knowledge of FEMA requirements (including C/LOMR processing) a plus.
Experience with SWMM as well as statistical analysis of flow record.
Experience with 2-D modeling (RAS-2D, FLO-2D, ADH, SRH-2D and similar).
