Accountant

Insight Global is seeking an Accountant to join a clients team in Albuquerque, NM. The Accountant will work under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer and support the overall mission of the Accounting Department. The right person will be collaborative, have solid numerical and analytical skills, and excellent attention to detail. This position requires accuracy, confidentiality, dependability, organization skills, integrity, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and analytical thinking. This role is on-site.

Job Responsibilities:
-Accounts payable
-General Ledger
-Job costing
-Processing payroll
-Accounts receivables
-Preparing federal, state and local taxing requirements on monthly and quarterly returns
-Providing accounting guidance to staff
-Having the ability to work alone and as part of a team
-Other duties as assigned

-5+ years of experience in Accounting
-Bachelor’s degree
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Strong analytical skills
-Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and job costing

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
-ERP experience, preferably Global Shop Solutions (GSS)
