One of Insight Globals large healthcare clients is hiring Floor Technicians, also known as Floor Care Technicians, who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the ER, PCU, High-Risk NICU, JRI, Med Surg, and Primary Care within the main hospital alongside other day-shift Floor Techs. They will play a crucial role in keeping floors aesthetically pleasing and free from harmful microorganisms.
Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
Floor Care: Use floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and other equipment to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.
Spot Removal: Remove spots from carpets and perform bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.
Trash Disposal: Dispose of trash and assist with hazardous waste collection.
Equipment Operation: Operate floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, canister vacuum cleaners, and shop vacuums.
Safety Measures: Wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.
Microorganism Control: Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms.
Inventory Management: Keep an inventory of floor areas and schedule cleaning and maintenance duties.
Maintenance Reporting: Report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
Responsibilities:
