In this role, you will design and implement technical architectures across the different functions of which include R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial and Supporting functions. A key focus area will be the hosting platform where these applications will run, including the selection of components and cloud services that make up the application, optimizing for interoperability of hosting environments as well as integration patterns and total cost of ownership. Collaboration is key; you'll work together with Product owners, Product Engineers, Developers and external vendors to ensure architectures are in sync with defined functional and non-functional requirements.
Contributing to our IT roadmap, you'll collaborate with Enterprise Architects to keep our technological approaches at the cutting edge. You will frequently assess and optimize both application workload placement validity & data architectures, ensuring they are efficient, agile, and cost-effective. * A minimum of Five (5) years of solution architecture experience, performing analysis, design and documentation of COTS and in house engineered solution architectures within Life Science and/or CPG industries.
* Working knowledge of new architectural patterns and technology services, including direct experience with designing MACH architectures, cloud native PaaS technologies (AWS, Azure and SAP cloud), API management platforms like Kong, Event driven platforms e.g. Kafka or RabbitMQ, Data platform technologies Snowflake, Fivetrain, Databricks and observability platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
* Proficient in documenting architectures using Atlassian Confluence, Draw.io including C4 notation, ServiceNow APM and CSDM.
* Exceptional analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
* In-depth knowledge and experience with agile ways of working, principles, and methodologies (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Design Thinking)
* Ability to manage high level of complexity and to be comfortable operating in ambiguity.
* Self-starter: able to initiate, prioritize, and complete assignments with little to no supervision
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with exceptional service
* Experience and competency with productivity tools such as:, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, MS Teams, SharePoint; bonus points for Mural, PowerBI
