Job Description
A leading commercial services company with operations across multiple states in the northeast is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support payroll and administrative functions for several business entities.
Key Responsibilities
• Payroll Management:
○ Process payroll for approximately 75 employees across multiple companies.
○ Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for government-funded projects in compliance with prevailing wage laws.
• Accounting Support:
○ Manage accounts payable and receivable.
○ Utilize QuickBooks Desktop (and QuickBooks Online for one entity) for financial transactions.
• Administrative Duties:
○ Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
○ Assist with general office tasks and documentation.
○ Act as a Notary Public (preferred, not required).

• Proficiency in ADP payroll systems and QuickBooks Desktop.
• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of certified payroll requirements for government projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Notary Public certification.
