Job Description

The Transportation Analyst will be joining the MedTech Outbound Freight Transportation Operations team.
This resource will have responsibility for U.S. outbound finished goods transportation operations across multiple MedTech Business Units. The role will provide both tactical execution support and strategic, data-driven insights to help improve service, cost, and supplier performance across our outbound transportation network.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Transportation Data Analysis (50%)
o Perform operational and spend transportation data analysis
o Develop insights and actionable recommendations related to cost, service, supplier performance, and budget management
o Support identification and execution of continuous improvement opportunities
2. Outbound Transportation Operations Ownership (40%)
o Manage U.S. outbound finished goods shipments from MedTech distribution sites
o Own tactical execution of outbound transportation operations
o Track shipments, manage issue/event investigations and resolution
o Support new product introductions and special projects
o Monitor, report, and manage operational KPIs and service performance
3. Supplier Management (10%)
o Conduct carrier and supplier performance reviews
o Manage investigations and corrective actions
o Coordinate special movements and ad hoc transportation requests
o Support holiday planning and execution coordination

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 4 years of business experience required
Experience working in Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Logistics
Strong data analytics proficiency, including the ability to visualize, analyze, and interpret data to drive actionable outcomes
Demonstrated experience in process improvement and cost improvement, with a mindset of challenging the status quo
Background with SAP
Demonstrated problem-solving capability in operational environments
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to identify business needs, resolve issues, and plan and execute work effectively
