Prior experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a preferred qualification, however not required.

The candidate must excel at producing analytic products and support covering a wide spectrum of areas, from geopolitical security risk, to travel security, to business-focused risk intelligence, such as disruptions to supply chain or other operational areas. The role will team with the client's global security operations center to formalize risk intelligence collection requirements, and coach the team on escalation triggers. The ideal candidate would have impeccable networking and stakeholder engagement skills, with a reputation for building strong relationships, and delivering value to those stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with security environments in multiple diverse regions globally, will have significant personal on-ground experience with the security landscapes in multiple foreign environments, and a network of contacts, security implementers and vendors working in travel security, to include in high risk environments.

The role is responsible for providing ad hoc risk assessments for travel and meetings, but will also be responsible for managing programmatic aspects of the travel security program, including employee outreach, education, and training, corporate policy compliance, and coordination with and management of our travel security vendors. The position is also scoped to support incident response, including rapid response to major security incidents, coordination of traveler wellness checks, and support managing corporate travel restrictions. The position and the larger team is charged with being a business enabler, supporting and advising the business as prudent on risk avoidance, but with a mindset of managing risks intelligently to ultimately advance the business' goals.

Qualifying experience includes prior work on geopolitical risk assessments, travel security risk intelligence analysis, coordination of on-ground security and traveler support in foreign environments, strategic and operational risk forecasting, and quantitative data analytics. The client is looking for forward-thinking, creative candidates capable of working with colleagues across a broad range of functional areas.
