Job Description

One of our clients is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their team. Candidates will be responsible for providing technical support for their desktop/laptop computing systems, troubleshooting their collaboration tools (Zoom/Skype/Teams), and supporting/maintaining Windows/macOS operating systems. On a day-to-day basis, candidates will be installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various hardware, software, and network issues. They will also assist users with their computing needs, such as account creation, system monitoring, remote access, and device configuration. This role is supporting about 450 users and candidates should expect to work on about 15-40 tickets per day. Great communication and customer service skills will be imperative to be successful in this role. This is going to be 5 days on-site in Princeton, NJ.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3+ years of experience with IT Support handling Windows and MacOS on both laptop and desktop computing systems.

- Knowledge of Linux

- Experience with TCP/IP networking to assist users with installing/troubleshooting VPN

- Experience providing support on O365 and any video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom, Skype, etc.)

- Great communication and analytical skills

- On-site in Princeton, NJ 5 days a week

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with Linux/Linux system admin with basic support such as account creation, system monitoring, and resetting passwords

- Experience working with Bombgar

- Past experience working in Higher Education
