Insight Global's client in the Material Handling industry is searching for Level 2 Automation Technicians that will be focused on the troubleshooting and maintenance of the material handling equipment. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical problems by using advanced troubleshooting skills
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using technical drawings
- Performance of preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent unsafe working conditions
- Leading troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment issues
- Train & mentor Level 1 Automation Technician colleagues
- Develop & implement preventative maintenance programs
- Update standard operating procedures and technical documentation
- Interface & partner with engineering teams regarding design changes & upgrades
- Documentation of maintenance activities & repairs
- Follow all internal and OSHA safety standards

- 2+ years of experience working in the material handling, electrical, mechanical, or automotive industries
- 2+ years of experience with technical troubleshooting and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller)
- 2+ years of experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) platform or software
